Bessie’s Best was proud to provide a spot in the Cameron Street Lobby of the Pennsylvania Farm Show complex for families to find support! Our corner of the week-long festivities included clean, private changing tables for parents, including spare clothes and diapers for parents who find themselves in a pinch! We also provided private stalls with a rocking chair for moms who need to nurse or feed their babies in a quiet spot. Some of the stalls even included electric hookups for moms who needed to use an electric pump. In addition, there is a full bed for families who need to change wheelchair-bound people. Plus, families could come take a break with their little ones in our play area, full of fun toys and activities and plenty of seating for family members ready to sit down.

We were also happy to provide the Kids Kuffs for the 2023 PA Farm Show visitors! These cuffs were available for parents to put their cell phone number on, then adhere around their child’s wrist. On a packed, busy Farm Show day, busy and curious children are bound to run off in different directions, hoping to see it all! The Kids Kuffs help to ensure that lost children are recovered quickly.

Of course, we were there to provide a snack break, as well! Samples of our lactation cookies, our lactation granola and our new ranch pretzels were available for everyone to try and purchase. We love getting to chat with mommies and families – we met so many wonderful people and everyone was so grateful for the space.

We also had some local friends visit our space! We welcomed Fox43 to help get the word out about our little corner of the Farm Show. We were also happy to welcome Jasmine Brooks from CBS21 and her daughters to our space while chatting with a local mommy.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by! Our hope is that this space will make it easier and safer for families to attend the Farm Show.
